sports equipment photos

Part I of this article in its consideration of "Touchdown!" photos screaming football matches discusses some tips on preparing before the game, tips on useful accessories to take on the game, plus suggestions on what features to look for when buying a digital camera to take a sporting events. Part II expands on this advice, and mentions some technical tinkering to do to take great photographs.

6) Take photos as fast as possible

Action happens quickly in football. Especially if you are sitting in the stands, the combination of fast action holding hands and a digital camera often leads to blurred photos.

* Do not shoot in RAW mode – use high quality JPG. You may not notice a difference in the quality image, and shooting in JPG means that your digital camera can save photos to the faster memory, which allows you to monitor the photos faster.

* Shoot the highest possible shutter speed (usually controlled by "a digital camera S" setting) that still results in the accompanying photos are too dark. If most shoot in automatic mode, the camera pushing his experiment a step or two faster than what it recommends.

If you own a digital SLR and are allowed to bring into the game, a fast lens can help to increase faster than the camera shutter speed possible. This can add to the total cost of the camera, however.

In connection with this:

* Experience increased its ISO sensitivity. His adjustment ISO determines the sensitivity of your digital camera to light. The higher the ISO (default is usually 100), the faster you can adjust the shutter speed. However, an ISO higher than add some grain (noise) to the photo. Some users advanced digital cameras can shoot at 200 or even 400, with reasonable results, with a DSLR to be able to use an ISO setting of 800 and possibly higher.

7) I look at the Margin

Not all of the action in a football match takes place in the field. I look to the margins from time to time when a team is in the pack or other breaks in the action such as TV time-outs. You may notice the coaches interact with their team, emotions running high after a great play or costly mistake, cheerleaders, or mascots, everything This may make interesting photo subjects.

8) learn the game and the team

The more you understand the game of football and play equipment, improved compositions should be. You might not remember the name of each player and all the playbook of a team, but the alignment of reading and scanning report will not do damage.

Do you have a team has a pattern of operation in first and then launch in the second? They are a deep ball passing team or just the pass for situations short film? Marshal is a drop-back passer analysis or may be executed if the stock begins to collapse? On the defensive side, actors are more likely to play zone or man to man?

As there are many players in the field is virtually impossible to take photos of every big play. By learning about the computers that will increase the likelihood of attention from your digital camera in the right player at the right time.

9) prepare for the unexpected

This is football and anything can and will happen. Do not always put your digital camera down during a punt situation, as can be lost fake punt attempt. Marshal false peaks are not uncommon. Also, interesting things can happen outside the actual playing field. Once I attended a party at the Superdome Louisiana, the game was briefly halted as a small balloon-shaped balloon drifting in the field!

Soccer is an exciting show full of suspense, drama, and unexpected. With so much on a pitch of 100 yards, is very difficult to position your digital camera in the right place and right time to make bigger photos. However, with the preparation, proper equipment, knowledge of the configuration of your digital camera, and a little luck, you can also take photos digital football games that will make viewers shout "Touchdown!"
